So what ever really happened to prelude?

I remember there was a thread discussing all of this somewhere....but what ever really happened to her?

Nope... she just said she has a lot of stuff on her plate right now. Didn't give specifics.

I sure miss her length in-depth explanation on stuff. I though a new member princeton gonna take her place but now that member is not around anymore.

I was wondering where she was. I hope everything is okay and she takes care of her business soon. I kinda miss her , Plus I said once before I had a crush on her, but I didnt know she looked like this ober?, where did you get that pic?

*sigh* I still remember when I first came on the board after learning python and I thought I knew everything and she schooled me. Kinda wish she had used a paddle or something. I was a young hothead, and a baaaaad boy

I really hate to follow such a.. disturbing... post...

But yes I remember first coming on to this board and asking questions so bad that even noobs could get mad at me for asking them. Prelude was always helpful and never rude.. even if you got annoying... example

I feel like I just read an obituary or something.

Its all love axon. you take yourself too seriously. I'm just saying that prelude was a valuable asset to this board and she taught and will teach ppl a great deal when she gets back. That's all, don't get your panties in a knot.

As for being a fanboy. Coders usally have a bad image as to their physical image and somatic type. So if we have a guru on the board, who breaks alot of the sterotypes, that is she could probably put some of the ANSII C members to shame, helpful, knowledgable, yada yada yada. And on top of that she is a female and not a ugly one at that. So kudos to prelude for all your help and insight girl. Hope to see you soon. Can't wait till you get back.

p.s. axon don't hate. i'm sure there are some guys on here who think your cute too.

thats all I gotta say for this thread. it doesn't need to be a rerun of the needles "start here" thread.

Just read a reply by prelude so she can't be that far away. Her posts on binary trees where very challenging last year. There is a lady at my University in a lot of classes though not attractive imo I admire her intellect. Hopefully more women will find CS has more to offer them than just changing diapers and cleaning the house. Still if prelude where a man I would be just as impressed as I am by, for example, Salem or some of the other regulars who so generously contribute their time.

PS not inferring only women clean the house and change the diapers just an illeteration of a stereotype
