hello everyone
soon(ish) i will be starting my own web design company (yeh, yeh, i know...) anyways, i can't seem to find a good name. the best one i found (that wasnt taken, cos theres been a fe of those) is O5 (the fact it doesnt mean anythin gprobably makes it the best) but anyone could come up with that given 2 seconds of reflexion. your challenge, would be to find me a good company name. what's in it for you? well i'm sorry but i don't have much to offer

Well it would be easier to help you if you gave us some bits and pieces of information about yourself or what you plan to specialise in.
For example, my brother Dave, has a registered company by the name of.....
DAVE
(for an added bonus, his URL [which is out of action atm] is www.dave.ie)
As you can see, it's not a name you'll forget soon but it gets better. It sounds at first like a silly joke, but stands for "Digital Audio Visual Entertainment".
My point? You can make an interesting, memorable company out of things about yourself or what you do that you normally don't even think about!
You could also go for an old classic and just name it after a mythical creature, (say, Manticore) or something cool sounding in Latin (like Carpe Noctem [Seize the Night]).

or, you could go with carpe salvelinus, which is seize the trout

I have been to France (Paris, Lyon, Trappes). Most of the people are arrogant and snobbish. I've read a book about the French people, and it all appears to be a front... but damn. There is a difference between being guarded and being rude.Originally Posted by whackaxe

I chose my company name "Windy Hill Productions" as a result of my surroundings. You could do the same.
