    Analysis

Playoffs are becoming clear. Both the Flaming Geckos and the Saints have secured playoff spots. They will be seeded one and two, but in which order is still up for grabs. The Saints are at a one game advantage, but the total points scored by the teams is very close. If the Geckos manage a win next week over the StealToes, and the Saints loose to the Sluts, the Geckos could take the number one seed if they have the most overall points.

Warriors, Team Awesome, Rod's Rod_Rammers, and Dalren's Daemons all have playoff hopes as well. Who advances and seeding is decided by your record and then the number of points scored.

There are two possible scenarios to decide the playoff picture. Everything hinges on the Warriros/Daemons game next week. If the Warriors win, then they advance, as does the winner of the Team Awsome/RoD's Rammers game.

If the Warriors loose, things get cloudy. If they loose there will be three teams who are 7-8, which means the two with the most total points will advance. In all likelihood the winner of the Team Awesome/Rammers game will advance, because they have the most points out of the teams who have the potential to be 7-8. The Warriors will probably advance as well, because they have a 45 point head start on the Daemons. However, if the Daemons manage to outscore the Warriors by 45 or more, they will advance instead.

Note: This analysis includes victories and point totals for week 14 that are not included in the scoreboard. Point totals may change with Monday Night’s Game.

*sigh*... I go from stomping someone one week to getting my clock cleaned the next. Something isn't right.

If it makes you feel any better ober, you're the team I'd least want to play in the playoffs save Kermi.

Wow, thought I was guaranteed second considering you've beaten me twice. Doesn't really matter though I guess, not like we're playing for homefield advantage

It is technically possible...it would matter some of course. The person in 1st seed gets to play the person seeded 4th....Probably the Warriors if I had to guess...maybe the Dalren.

Why? K Jones put up some good numbers today...

Oh - and I'm going to claim victory today with my 10 TDs...I think I probably passed PJ for most points too...

    > Why? K Jones put up some good numbers today...

Why? Joey Harrington actually leads a tremendous drive with less than 1:30 left and no time outs, throws a TD pass to Roy Williams to pull us within 1 with 8 seconds left on the clock, and then the long snapper screws up the XP snap for the second time in the game so Hanson has no chance to kick the game-tying extra point.

PS That was actually Jones's worst game since coming back from his injury.
