yep, it has been on Mozillazine forums for a while.

    You'll have to note though:
So what is safe from tampering? A bad guy can't read your browser preferences. He doesn't know whether you use large toolbar icons or small ones, what your bookmarks are, or what sort of extensions you have installed.

If they do, I ask them to find the smallest example that exhibits the problem and send me that. Mostly, they then find the error themselves. "Finding the smallest program that demonstrates the error" is a powerful debugging tool.

It works fine on my WinXP box just fine (0.9.1). Dunno why he said that.
Naturally I didn't feel inspired enough to read all the links for you, since I already slaved away for long hours under a blistering sun pressing the search button after typing four whole words! - Quzah

Go to about:config, set dom.disable_window_open_feature.menubar to true.

I thought Internet Explorer was meant to be secure too.. I won't post the google link of all the results of internet explorer exploits for you

I'd have to say there aren't many public programs as large as Firefox that don't have at least a couple bugs.

With Internet Explorer, I believe you can comprimise entire systems.

I'm not comparing the two's security, I was explaining why this is serious. Any level of insecurity is unacceptable.

I don't know any operating system with a working internet connection that is secure. Anything used that much is going to get exploited in one way or another. What's important, is finding, and patching the problem when it's discovered.

I'm sure that Mozilla Firefox is less insecure than those who exploit it.

Hah, check out the google results for "openbsd exploits". Try again my friend. The only way to have a secure system is to have no internet connection
