    An Amazon Listmania

I was looking for books on C++ and the like, and found a great list. To me, it is a thorough list, with many books from start to finish. Take a look at the list.

number 6 is a pretty intense book. i had that for a couple algorithms courses in school. Lots of very good advanced concepts. the only thing i dont like about it is all of the numeric algorithms are done using 1 based counting systems

yeah I had that book as well for one class...suposedly that book is the it book; it wasn't too difficult.

I've used number 8 for two courses as well...good book but somewhat difficult. It is also used pretty widely all over and thankfully many answers are online

I own number 10...its great for reference.

I;ve rented number 16 a few times and it is really exceptional. It gives you a nice look of engineering problems not found in most books...that whole series is really good.
