Can you link to EXE's in HTML?

    Hey guys,
How do you let someone download a file from your site. I was thinking you could use an <a> tag to link to it. If that's the case, what attribute of the tag to you specify the web location of the file in, and do you use FTP protocol or HTPP? Thanks in advance if you can help.

You can normally just hyperlink to it as with another page.

I think he means that he wanted to run the program when someone clicked on the link, not download it... (Java Program?)

Not how I read it..... even so, you would not address an .exe from the web like that.....
