Yes, I agree with you. But naturally people will try anything to lose weight. And if they can eat as much of something as they want and still lose weight, they'll go for it.

well, the problem is people eat too much anyway. Atkins, AFAIK, only works if you convert to eating solely protein and LIMIT intake of fats. Plus, it is pretty unhealthy as you really can mess up your metabolism and enzyme system if you dont check up with a doctor periodically.

anyway, I never did enjoy KK so apparently the world is catching on that big-commercialized food != good.

Nah, wouldn't be. Most grains are pretty high carb - that's why whenever you see commercials for hamburger places with Atkins menus, they skip the buns.

cheese donuts? one would think that would worse for you than regular donuts.

I have a feeling that as unhealthy as donuts are, people maybe need to start looking at what they have with donuts, coffee(just check how many calories you get with that starbucks vente half-and-half latte with extra whip cream).
