    Maybe if you drink a ton, but I've never known of anyone getting serious health problems unless they were an extremely heavy drinker

    I've read articles suggesting consumption in excess of 14 drinks a week will increase the risk of cancer. (Although it does seem to be a very slight risk, and one that affects females more than males.)

    Well since my birthday is in July I'll do my part to help American Beer Month. I'm not a big drinker (I'd be streching to get 14 drinks a year). I don't see anything wrong with moderatated drinking. Hell I'm at the point where I can not consume more then two drinks in a setting. I can try to go for a third but I never finish it.

    Hmm...more of a scotch man, but I like a beer too. I'll try to have a few this weekend as a salute to all you Americans.

    I guess we should be saluting California common (also known as steam beer) above the other styles. It is, after all, the only "American" beer style.
