Dude... I don't know what you're doing or how you are creating your images, but none that you have posted have loaded in my browser (MyIE2)... which is weird, because I can open up IE and they show up. And MyIE2 is based off of IE (obviously). But yeah... something is screwy with how you are saving your images or something.

It also loads in Netscape, Opera, and Firefox... this is just weird.

the ticker still moves fast because, like i said, i haven't uploaded the new version cuz i was going to bed at the time

About the pictures, I'll have to look in to that. The only image on the site is the banner at the top, which is a .jpg..so i don't see why it wouldn't load correctly. Possibly something wrong with your browser?

Like I said, I've tested it with 4 other browsers on this machine... and this one is the only one that doesn't show your image. It renders all other jpgs just like it is supposed to. It could be a problem with this browser, but I find that hard to believe.

FYI... I just loaded your main page and it loads that banner fine. Hence... I suggest there is something wrong with the one(s) you have created since then.

ok, i uploaded one of my older banners...tell me if that one loads up. I think it might not have worked because i was using the best quality of compression for the original one, and maybe your browser didn't like it for some reason, so I saved it with one level lower of compression...let's see if that fixes it

Also uploaded the updated ticker code

dbgt goten: you're right about the ticker, it was kind of an iffy thing whether i'd put it in there or not, but i can easily take it out if it becomes too much of a hassle

    -edit-
i just updated my index file, i'm trying to get it to display a table with a kind of GUI'ish feel to it, but for some reason there's an extra 5 pixels at the bottom of the corners......and i can't figure out for the life of me why they're there!!! Any ideas?

Mozilla works fine, IE screws it up...great

well, i'm not sure what's up with it then, i resaved the original new banner and uploaded it again...

I also fixed the table settings so they work in IE now....so the news page is working nicely now

got the news poster working perfectly now, it automatically groups news from same days in to the same "news box"

Now to start working on the site's actually overall design.....Figuring out the best way for everything to link together and whatnot
