I've got a question for making a music video...
On the computer, I'm going to record the song. It's a pre-recorded .mp3 being played, with my voice going into the microphone, recording at the same time as the mp3 being recorded. The mp3 is actually recorded from the computer to the destination file, not via the speakers.
My question is, for the accompanying video. How is this usually done, or what would be a good way to do it? The only things I can think of is:
a) Play the mp3 and I'll do the lyrics actually while I'm doing the music video
b) Pretend to sing the lyrics in the video
c) Any other ideas?
What would work the best for this? For some reason it seems better to somehow have the entire song pre-recorded because if I mess up, I don't have to act out the video over again.
