Uhh... I don't see any connection to programming with the vast majority of those quotes.

Either that, or they only apply in a very specific context, and here, they're without context.

Some of 'em you can stretch to fit programming... Others just have no relation at all.

Instead of calling it a list of quotes related to programming, you could take some of them and write essays on programming, explaining how they *could* be related to programming -- basically, use the quote as a hook to introduce the topic you actually want to write about. Of course, many of the relationships are superficial and work only as a way of introducing a topic -- for instance, "Call me Ishmael" might work best as the epigraph of a chapter describing functions in a book on programming.
I was born; I shall die. Between those two events there is life. I don't know why, and I don't question it; I merely live.

I don't call a function and say "Exit, pursued by a bear".
Thats probably because you use inferior tools like C/C++. Real men use Shakespeare !

    Code:
Scene III: Once you pop, you can't stop!

    Lady Macbeth:
Recall your unhappy childhood. Speak your mind!

    Othello:
You are as vile as the sum of yourself and a toad! Are you better
     than nothing?

    Lady Macbeth:
If so, let us return to scene III.

                        Scene IV: The end.

    [Exeunt]
This is probably the coolest recursion I have ever seen
    hth

She was so Blonde, she spent 20 minutes looking at the orange juice can because it said "Concentrate."

When in doubt, read the FAQ.
    Then ask a smart question.
