My laptop's native resolution is 1680x1050x32. 60 Hz is the screen refresh rate. The video card is an ATI Mobility Radeon 9000 with 32 megabytes of RAM.

I have 1024x768 on mine
Statistics from my website hits: 1024x768 (48%), 1280x1024 (34%), 800x600 (11%), the rest (7%)
source: compsci textbooks, cboard.cprogramming.com, world wide web, common sense
I run at 800x600 because everything seems really small after that, and I don't have much reason to run at any higher resolution. Except when my icons overflow my desktop...
And how can anyone run at lower that 640x480!

Probably cell phones, PDAs, TVs, and other small devices.
that's impossible. everyone i meet has 800x600, and when i ask them why, they're all "duh...i like big text"Originally Posted by nvoigt
it sucks because when you design a site they have to scroll horizontally
I use 1280x1024 on my 17" TFT's and 800x600 on my 15" CRT.

What exactly is impossible ? I don't see your statement contradicting my statement. Everyone you meet belongs to category b).Originally Posted by Xterria

She was so Blonde, she spent 20 minutes looking at the orange juice can because it said "Concentrate."
When in doubt, read the FAQ.
Then ask a smart question.
My website stats are right along with everyone else's... a lot run at 1024x768... but there are still a fair amount running 800x600.
I run 1280x1024 on my 19" at home.... 1152x864 on my 17" at work.
1024*768

Thanks everyone. And special thanks to Yoshi - that's what I wanted.
Personally, I use 1600x1200, but I do have a 21" monitor. I have a friend who also uses 1600x1200, but with a 15" monitor. He openly admits that he can't read half of what's on the screen
