    Intel Manuals

I've heard from many people that you can order Intel Processor manuals for free. However, I can't find them on the site - can anyone show me where to get these? Thanks !

Do you mean the datasheets (which are a couple hundred pages each)?

Here is a page with a lot of links for the i386 family of processors

Printed copies of the Intel® IA-32 Architecture Software Developer Manuals are not available at this time. Electronic copies are available in PDF format or on CD-ROM. The electronic versions of these documents allow you to quickly get to the information you need and print only the pages you want.
    Are you sure?

I ordered the Intel Manuals when they were available and I got the AMD ones, they are really interesting and people think you're a genious when they see 9 technical books stacked up (AMD and Intel combined).

I ordered the manuals for the 486, IA-32, and IA-64 as they became available. I do not have any of the AMD ones. The reason for them being unavailable is probably due to the cost of printing them. Having owned a print shop before...I know that having books printed can involve a large amount of money.
