    M$ Front Page Server Extensions

What are Front Page Server Extensions? What do they actually do? Does it imply my server is M$ based rather than Linux?

I have this some new webspace with a real heavy weight management interface (which is killing me).

    Cheers

I don't think that it implies that your server is MS based. I'm not sure but I think FPSE can be put on Linux servers too (I could be wrong). And I'm not sure, but I think it allows the garbage that is produced by Frontpage to be parsed correctly by the server. In other words, Front Page Server Extensions fix the garbage you put on the net that you could avoid by coding by hand.
