i think there is a certain threshold before your rating goes up. IE you start with 10 points, but maybe need 20 to get another 1337 green rectangle....

Oooooh, apparently I got a positive rating from someone. It jumped up my points by 10... I don't see why the points don't go up and down 1 at a time instead though. Personal satisfaction? lol

The amount of reputation gained or lost when you are rated depends on the person rating you. High post counts, having been a member for a long time, and having a good reputation will all increase the number of points someone can confer on another.

I don't know about your avatar...However, your post count went down because we changed how they were counted. Previously, posts that had been deleted from public view (but kept for record keeping purposes) were counted in post counts. Now they are not. You probably had about 100 posts that had been deleted.

Not sure if this is meant to be the case of not, but there is no scroll bar on code tags and it really sucks.

Love the quick reply box, needed one for a long time.

After a two days break when I came to this site today, it WAS A BIG SURPRISE . It took me some time to be sure that I am on the right site. First impression- I don't like the new look at all . Its too messy( like many other forums out there). I really liked the old style which was SIMPLE BUT EFFECTIVE. Not sure about other functionalities, gonna look now...

On the User CP/Edit signature page, the Smilies and tag strings are overlapping the cream(i think) box surrounding this text input box.
