    i suck at life

i have noticed that i have an increasingly difficult time reading/writing/speaking. I have re-read a lot of my posts and I consistently do things like:

    programmign

where the g and n are swapped.

A lot of the time when I want to say a sentence like :

"I went to the bank to cash my check"

    I will instead say:

"I went to the cash to bank my check"

but I honestly cant tell that I'm saying it wrong. Right now while typing this in the sentence where I wrote:

"I will instead say:" I wrote the first time: "I will instead saying" but luckily I noticed it so I wouldn't look like a jackass.

I think im dyslexic or something and it's starting to ........ me off

If I were you, I'd probably talk to a doctor about that.

Don't forget about our rule #16:
If you are depressed or suicidal, I strongly urge you to seek professional help or the counseling of an adult in your community. The message boards can be an unfriendly place, and though some will be sympathetic, others will not be, and you are unlikely to receive the support you deserve. All too often, these threads result in flames and hurt feelings and nobody feels better. These threads will receive a reply listing resources for help and will then be closed. At the risk of appearing to hold a double standard, the moderators will be allowed to practice some discretion; for long-standing members of the community, if a particularly traumatic event occurs, they should not feel as though they cannot talk about it in the community.
Naturally I didn't feel inspired enough to read all the links for you, since I already slaved away for long hours under a blistering sun pressing the search button after typing four whole words! - Quzah

    Hmm, old age?

I have caught myself doing that a few times too...I just start thinking before I do things and slow down some. If you catch yourself doing it just remember to think next time...I do lot's without thinking such as type this horribly formatted post that most likely doesnt solve anything or add to anything and is full with spelling errors. Anyways...just slow down and catch yourself doin it..I dont really do it anymore so it just takes time.

Yeah, I don't do it while typing.

This is almost a compliment to you man...don't feel bad.

You're thinking too fast and too far ahead so you mix up words...that's all.

you're trying way to hard to get mileage out of this "I suck" or "I'm stupid" routine. Lose that. Seriously. I don't think anyone thinks its funny and you're setting yourself up for lacking the confidence necessary to succeed in life. My 50 cents.

I don't think it's all that unusual to transpose words every once in a while, and it certainly doesn't make you dyslexic. If it doesn't cause major problems in your life, don't worry about it. If it does cause major problems in your life, seek help instead of just worrying about it.

And if worrying is the problem, seek help.

people have a really really hard time determining what parts of what I say are sarcasm...the 'i suck at life' title is supposed to be ironic/funny because this ISN'T A LIFE THREATENING SITUATION... Subsequently rule # 16 doesn't apply, so everyone can just calm down. So you're not getting any mileage out of your $.50 worth of gas money that you just wasted buddy Delete your post, I can't believe you have the audacity to leave it there...if you don't delete it i might have to kill myself

anyway, back to the topic, I'm glad I'm not the only one who does it. It seems I do it as much typing as speaking but oh well. And glirk, I just turned 18, so I sincerely doubt it's old age. However, I think the 'think more before you speak' rule applies more than the 'you think too fast for your own mouth' thing. It happens a few times everyday, but like I honestly can't tell I'm saying something wrong until after I say it, or someone points it out, and I have to stop and think for a few seconds to understand it. sometimes I can solve complex mathematil equations in my head than I can say "go cash my check"

    EDIT:
and just to clarify, I'm not all depressed about this. It's an annoyance, a pretty amusing annoyance actually, and it's something to talk about, and I hope fyb gets the sand out of his butt

i think i really just am an airhead because i also realized that i can't ever find things. i currently cannot find my glasses, and everyday i have to hunt for my shoes and wallet because i never remember where i put them. actually my short term memory loss is worse than the hypothetical dyslexic thing

how does this issue make you suck at life??

BTW I have a friend who was dyslexic, but when he was in highschool for about a year he had special therapy/training and he learned to beat it.

Swapping letters in a word is NOT caused by dyslexsia, but rather from typing too fast. Happens to me all the time.

Most common swap: return - retrun

    Very annoying
