First you really should tell us what OS you are on. If linux g++, but I think you are on windows. So I actually don't know what to recommend. I have never used any of them, but I hear alot about devc++ maybe that is good
Linux development - gcc/g++
Windows development -
there are so many it just depends what you prefer...

I never even knew the FAQ link was at the bottom of the page. Maybe if it was moved to the top, in bold centered, maybe a slightly larger font, people would use it more?
