how is my resume? any suggestions?

I am currently applying for an internship with Timegate Studios in Houston, TX, the developers of the Kohan series. From the looks of it, I might be able to get a game tester position.

So I have been preparing my resume, but this is the first time I have ever really applied for any job other than a standard teenager job, and so this is the first time I will be submitting my resume.

Therefore, I would like any input you might have regarding my resume. I think it is pretty good, but is there anything that is missing that I should add? Or anything bad I might want to take out?

    Here it is:

    1) Make your name bigger. Put your phone/address at the bottom in small font. If they need to contact you, they'll find the info. You just want them to know your name and what you've got.

    2) Drop the objective. It is SO not important anymore.

    3) Bold your headers. It will make them stand out more.

    4) Consider a different font. Tahoma would be nice.

    5) Consider some lines to break it up.

    5) If you really intend to give someone that address to show them your resume:
    a) Use CSS.
    b) Use tables to center it.
    c) Add some color (nothing drastic, just something).

    6) Otherwise, I'd like to see it in a word document.

    Objective:
To gain employment for the summer that will provide experience in the field and assist in paying for education.
You need to be a little more specific about what you apply for

Why? If he was, he'd have to change his resume for every job he applied for.

    Example

That is my resume. It's not perfect, but it includes some of the changes I'd make to yours.

I am sending it as a Word document. Also, there is another document that they asked me to fill out which I am also sending with it.

It is a Questionaire that asks several questions about my gaming experience, how much I want to be payed, when I am available, and what game testing experience I have had in the past.

I am unsure whether to use my college address or home address, since I am at college right now but will be back home in Houston in about 1 and 1/2 months, so I have put both on there.

Here is an updated version in .doc form:

    2 Pages = BAD

    Drop the objective, seriously.

Otherwise it looks good. Just make sure you figure out how to get it on one page.

I went ahead and dropped the objective and re-uploaded it. It is at the same link as before (the word document one). It is now one page.

    Thanks for your input.

You must have some extra spaces in there, because 2 pages still show up. Go to the end and hold the delete key until the last page disappears.

    Otherwise, it's solid

    BAD!

You should not have to re-write your resume for every company you apply to. That is what a cover letter is for. Objectives are nothing more than space fillers for people that don't have enough to fill a page. No one actually reads them and no one really cares about what they say.

In most cases, when you submit a resume, the recipient KNOWS what you're applying for, and in the case that they don't, your cover letter should tell them.
