    I chopped a whole in the side of mine with a jigsaw and put a cold cathode blue from www.xoxide.com and it also has a plexyglass window. Pretty cool I guess. This was before all the pre-modded cases. like 3 years ago(I was the best)

    I have a blue LED fan, a red EL round IDE cable, and a green EL Round IDE cable... but for now I don't have enough power supply connections to have both the cables lit at the same time...

    It's a PC case. It holds motherboards and power supplies and other boring stuff. It sits under your desk, and does nothing other than contain stuff. Why in Gods earth would you want to make it glow, much less spend good money (that could be used for RAM, or food, or booze, or drugs) on doing so.

    it is a sybdrome RobR. I don't know the name for it. but it is evident in the punks who spend money on making their car look good and seem fast...in other words all-show-no-go. This might be a bit diff though, as often the moded pc do have "the go", but it is still pointless...unless you want to post you pc's pics in a forum board.

    I don't do drugs, or booze, and I don't need RAM; the food, well I can live without for a while;

    Same here. So why not spend that extra cash on my pc?

    If people can "mod" their cars why can't I mod my pc?

    You can do whatever you want. I am just surprised that you wouldn't spend it on making it quicker / faster / better, and that you would waste money on making a functional box look "good".

    I can kind of understand a car (although I have to laugh at all the 1200cc cars in my town with 225 low profiles and tea-trays on the back) but a PC? I mean, it's not like anybody is going to see it.

    Once again

    Does my cracks on the side of the case where I kicked it really hard when I got frustrated with a compiler error count as a mod? I think it looks really cool myself.

    ^ your PC case cracked? it's time to a better case...

    mine's on top of my desk... under the desk it gets kicked, can get struck by static charges from the rug, and the CD tray gets attacked by my cat... and he sometimes tries to sleep in the warm interior of my PC when I have it open
    and does nothing other than contain stuff
    mine looks cool too
    Why in Gods earth would you want to make it glow
    because my round (glowing) IDE cables yield higher airflow than the flat cables, and my 80mm (glowing) fan moves about 32.11CFM at 25.0dBA...

    and you are doing extremely difficult (often times secret) calculations for NASA and the pantagon were every extra CFM or dBA matters. give me a break.

    it does when your case is running at 50C... and with 4 HD's spinning, I really don't need any more noise from a fan...
