At least make an effort and vote..........

    >>Yes it was clinton that de regulated telecom. This allowed so many internet companies to start up, they hired tons of engineers <<

What were these engineers doing before all these jobs?

    >>and then they all failed for the reasons I stated above,<<

    Which was;
    >>A lot of nontechnical people got involved and they had all this equipment they didn't need nor know how to use so soon people that used their service could only talk to others in that small town.<<

So these engineers were 'nontechnical' and did not know how to use the equipment? Then they don't deserve a job.

    >>which meant there was LOTS of engineers without jobs which ruined the job market for engineers.<<

So they could not go back to their pre telecom deregulation jobs, probably because they are incompetent.

    >> Billions of dollars were invested in those companies

So thats where the defict came from.

    >>Look it up on the internet and you will find what I am talking about.

The idea is you back your arguments up with facts or we just think you just have verbal diarrhoea.

I don't see how you dont see it's clintons fault, he deregulated the phone lines causeing this, he did a lot more too just I don't know it all off the top of my head. Look it up on the internet and you will find what I am talking about.
Alright, I looked it up on the Internet. The Telecommunications Act of 1996 deregulated the telephones and passed overwhelmlingly in both houses of Congress (414-16 and 91-5) before it was finally signed by Clinton. Obviously it's all Clinton's fault and the 95% of Congress that voted for it has no blame at all for whatever wrongs you think have occurred because of it.

    Here's my source: http://usinfo.state.gov/usa/infousa/media/telecomc.htm

I notice you haven't provided a source for anything you've said so far besides "I heard" or "everyone knows".

Not everything on the internet is fact, I am sure there are so many opinions that throw in lies for minute details to make a person look bad or better as to throw it off, that is why I don't post to a single site and call it evidence because for all I could prove it was all lies. Infact there was a chain of sites of hotels and other businesses saying they had a great lake view and on and on so people would go there and it was just a small town.

Anyways, I figure we all stop being so hostile about this...it's pointless and makes things worse...oh well it appears to be in human nature anyways so WTH kill eachother.

BTW, not all engineers have engineering jobs. Regular civilians were the non technical people I was talking about that messed things up.

It's hosted on a government site. Somehow I doubt that they'd lie about the votes. Just admit you don't have a leg to stand on and move along.

last time I looked every link used as evidence on this site wasn't a gov site. Then again, whatever works for you. I skipped by the link knowing I wasn't going to it anyways and figured it doesn't matter how many people voted on it. You know what Clinton could have done? Well, turn it down! That's right, the president has some power!

Anyways, these debates are pointless, I have seen to many and I am at the point where I need to research on the internet to continue my point...but I am not going to waste my time on this.

I have heard many people say Bush has lied about this and that bla bla bla. I guess you could also say Clinton changed the numkbers to seem like it was more favorable for him.

My god, maybe you people need to read what I said a second time...you really are not getting it. I mean seriously, this has gone too far. I am going to shutup because I can see you 2 will not be mature enough to realize this is pointless and only hurts the community. This is my last post on this topic.

If you'd grace us with your presence one last time, tell me what I misread.

You said " I guess you could also say Clinton changed the numkbers to seem like it was more favorable for him.". If you don't mean the votes, maybe you should actually say it instead of assuming we're all privy to whatever lunacy is flying through your head.

I am talking about how people make up so unbelievable BS about things that go too far, I mean seriously..what would be the point on chaning the #'s, none! Yet so many people claim presidents or others have done this and that and it doesn't make sense. Such things are spawned by ramble in threads like this, maybe not much yet but I can tell it's gonna come. Oh well, I may not be making much sense right now because I forgot WTH I was even talking about a few posts ago and don't care too much to make a good point here.

This thread has become sofa king stupid.
