Allow me to rant, plz:
Common Sense. By Definition is "Sound judgment not based on specialized knowledge; native good judgment.". A native ability abondoned by the majority of our population. Usually i am included in that majority, at least i know it.
On one side we have people suing mcdonalds and such for making them fat. Dumb <edit>'s, i mean jebus people cant u see how STUPID you look? Thats like me suing my barber because i didnt get a date. Or taking my mom to court for having me casuing a lifetime of pain and...fatness. I mean holy crap how dumb can u BE???
So on to another view of society. Here we have bill. Bill kills people for no apparent reason other than he thinks its funny. So what do we do? We get into a moral argument, involving goverment by the way (i know, thats paragraph four), about the death penalty. Then we argue about jailing him. So now hes your 10 year old girls substitue teacher on crack and ridilen. Wow, nice fix.
Goverment. I dont get it, neither do most of us. Why? Cuz it doesnt make any sense. One party explains another, were run by circular logic! I like blue because i do. Vote bush because you vote. I mean crap....it makes your head hurt. We have media making all kinds of buzz....o, media!
Media is the catalyst of all we despise. Our former presiendet commits adultry, ok join those who do it everyday, and the media is like OMG what do we do??? Impeach!! What do we do? We shoot those who give a damn and life goes on.
War. Yea that will solve a problem. Sure, make it all about honor and crap yea i want to die for a bull$$$$ cause for HONOR WOOOHOOOO.
What sparked this post? O thats an easy one.So im bored tonight, nothing new. So i am on aim and i send a message to my buddy Confuted. He says hey, im this person and flirt with her or something.
So ok, i did. In under 10 minutes i was able to convince a total stranger that she not only knew me from a party of a guy who i also dont know, but that she had actually hooked up with me at this party.
Using a made up life, name, and aquaintences i spent the next hour putting a memory into her head that she never had, yet totally accepts as true. What does this mean? That im an ass, ok we all knew that. It proves that the human race is so amazingly gullable as a whole, that a life can be totally made up and accepted as true for the wants of curiosity.
Using facts that ANYONE could have made up, i got this going. Granted Confuted was feeding me info, but i could have done without it.
I then insulted her after getting a picture of her to see her reaction. Did she block/curse me? Nope, i was able to not only get her back onto me, but had i not diverted from it i could have EASILY had her # and called her simply by giving her a false memory that i had already once had it.
So flip it back on me. I actually kinda like her now. What the hell happened....So now i have to eventually admit what i did, and talk my way out of it. I can, but the point remains.
Im appauled at what we have become as a whole, and the worst part is knowing its all downhill from here. So attached is the log file from aim minus the screen names for privacy. There may be bad content, i really dont member. (Language, no anything else).
Wow, ignorance is bliss.
