    Recent Extended Downtime

The recent downtime was related to a string of hardware issues. First, the hard drive began to fail. Then, the drive was replaced, but we continued to get error messages. So I requested a completely new machine. I expected it to be set up within a day or two, but it took about a week.

The reason the message board is even farther back in time than the recent downtime is that I couldn't back up the full site because of the hardware issues, so I had to use an older backup that I had.

This really should be the last time this happens. I'm on a new machine, I haven't had any trouble with it yet.

Finally, welcome back to the C board!

I was forced to go to DevShed, where there's a post every couple days. It's great to be back here. Let's never have downtime again, please.
