    (Happy) (Holidays)

Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low stress, non-addictive, gender neutral, celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasions and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all . . . and a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling, and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2004, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make America great, (not to imply that America is necessarily greater than any other country or is the only "AMERICA" in the western hemisphere), and without regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical ability, religious faith, or choice of computer platform of the wishee.

(By accepting this greeting, you are accepting these terms. This greeting is subject to clarification or withdrawal. It is freely transferable with no alteration to the original greeting. It implies no promise by the wisher to actually implement any of the wishes for her/himself or others, and is void where prohibited by law, and is revocable at the sole discretion of the wisher. This wish is warranted to perform as expected within the usual application of good tidings for a period of one year, or until the issuance of a subsequent Holiday greeting, whichever comes first, and warranty is limited to replacement of this wish or issuance of a new wish at the sole discretion of the wisher.)

    Happy Holidays will do.

If others don't like that they can either read your legal and quite amusing mumbo jumbo, choose not to read this post so they are not offended, or they can go suck an egg.

I'm atheist but I still celebrate the winter season. I just don't view it in a religious way. I still exchange presents and I feel much happier this time of year. It's my time to relax and let go of the pains and stress that life is plagued with.

    >>Why is the internet full of atheists?

well my theory is (and no offense to you frenchfry) that people who don't buy into religion or just don't care for it or what have you may not express their true feelings in front of those around them, but in a faceless place like the internet it's easy to admit things you may not admit inside your normal routine....i don't know it just makes sense to me becuase it does seem like there's an odd amount of atheists on the net compared to those you might know around you.

    Hey, DA!!!! Where ya been????

I PMed you, IMed you, AIMed you, E-mailed you, all to no avail.

And yes I'm still defending the old broken down DOS ways even though I've become somewhat of a traitor and started coding a game engine in DirectX.

But I've found a new use for DOS - lots of factories and real-time production plants will not use Windows because of stability issues. So....some of my old DOS libraries might be put to use in the real-world afterall - maybe. One of the programmers at work told me that if you want it to run 24/7/365 with very minimal downtime - use DOS, and based upon production where I'm at - that holds true. I sent him some code so we will see if he uses it.

Good to see ya DA. Don't be a stranger.

Hey Bubba man you know I been at school, right now I'm on a break. Come to think I should clean up my old gfx library and make some sort of schematic editor or somethin' of the sort. Man, well, I'm off on break right now so I'll be around a bit. When did you email me? I should reply, well best we keep this to PM or the other mods will pounce on their own in a bit. Thanks a bunch pal.
