Yeah well chances are you aren't going to be president now if you don't go to a top notch school which kicks a lot of people off that bandwagon. Bush didn't pay off over half the US

It Contains Stupid Quotes From Bush
Do you think that some of those quotes are Bush being sarcastic? Such as:

"There's a huge trust. I see it all the time when people come up to me and say, 'I don't want you to let me down again.'"
I did not understand the humor in this one:

I think anybody who doesn't think I'm smart enough to handle the job is underestimating."
Anyways, I think that it would be fair to say that these quotes could simply be falsified in order to make Bush look bad. I may or may not like him, but unless I see these on video they should not be understood as the truth.

Some of 'em make sense in context too. Additionally, I won't ding the guy because he isn't the best public speaker. There are more important issues to consider.

(Note: I didn't actually give an opinion on Bush.)
The word rap as it applies to music is the result of a peculiar phonological rule which has stripped the word of its initial voiceless velar stop.

i don't like bush, however most of the people that insult him couldn't get into yale or harvard, despite the fact that he acts, talks, and probably thinks like a monkey

and yes, he went to yale and harvard.
His father was president and he's a member of the skulls & bones secret society.

I am quite skeptical about this 'society' and what importance it has, if it even exists, to the real world.

It exists; the general consensus is that it doesn't really have any direct power or anything (nothing like the movie), but it is a really good way for rich boys to meet other rich boys and their rich parents.

You can't just pay your way through a top school like that. To say that someone went to a top school and then became president just because of money is just stupid.
    Money and Power.

BTW, you can pay your way through a top school. There was an article in the Wall Street Journal about it a few months ago.

Stupid quote from Al Gore: "It's not pollution that's harming our enviorment. It's the impurities in our air and water." Or how about, "I invented the Internet." He's not exactly the brightest crayon in the box either now, is he?

I am. Someone posted a link to stupid quotes from Bush, and I'm pointing out that Bush's rival in the political campaign of 2000 has said some pretty dull things, too. Honestly, while Bush isn't my favorite of all time, when Sept. 11th came along, I was sure glad it wasn't Gore handling it -shudders-.

He never said that. He said that he took initiative in creating the Internet, which is true; he was one of the chief proponents of approving spending on it.

    Bush's college --> Gore

Quite a jump, and an irrelevant jump at that.

    >>I think anybody who doesn't think I'm smart enough to handle the job is underestimating."

    Its not a compleat sentance.

If they think he is too stupid to do the job, WHAT are they underestimating?
