Is it incoming or outgoing calls you'll be dealing with?

I do tech support, and it's really not all that bad. Where I work, we had 3 weeks of full-time training, then another 3 weeks on the phones with people sitting nearby if we had questions. Most of the customers are nice people, and the grumpy ones... well... I guess you just deal with it.

I've had to work a help desk for telephone troubles before. You'll get some asses but if you act upbeat and glad to help them then most will be friendly.

It's good to see not all call centre staff have left the country .
When all else fails, read the instructions.

That's about 11-12 CAD, and I make 9 CAD an hour, part-time, and if I was full-time, it would be 10 an hour. So that's probably average pay for a call centre.
