    Game Programmer's AIM Circle: Join Today

    Hello,
    My name is Eric Lesnar and I have an AIM SN. I have a buddy list, but there seems to be missing.....a big void. That void has been icking me for quite sometime. I've been programming in C/C++ since I was 13 and I'm currently 17. I'm an aspiring game designer and programming and is greatly interested in the game development field.

    The purpose of my constructing this topic is to obtain AIM SNs of fellow aspiring game programmers and designers. I will create a group on my buddy list entitled, "Trigger's Circle" and it will consist of aspiing game designers and programmers like myself. If you feel insecured about leaving your AIM SN in such a public place then privately e-mail it to me at [email protected]

    You don't have to be any of the following but I'm especially looking for these kind of people:

    For Programmers:
    2D SDL Programmers
    3D SDL->OpenGL Programers
    2D Game Programmers(in general)
    3D Game Programmers(OGL though, not DX)

    For Designers:
    Those guys who like to write stories
    RPG Game Designers
    Action/Adventure Game Designers
    Platform(Mario, Crash) Game Designers
    Name: Eric Lesnar
    Learning: C/C++, SDL, WinAPI, OpenGL, and Python
    Compiler: Dev-C++ 4.9.0
    Current Game Project: Acoznict

    Why does everyone use aim? I hate it! I prefer MSN

    I'm not the best but you can add me if you want. Glirk2

    I am trying to get deeper into DirectX but I feel like I need to learn C++ inside out as best I can before I go into DirectX but my time is taken up so I have been out of the loop for too long...suppose I just need an idea maybe...maybe.

    bah everyone knows ichat is the way to go. (with either .mac or aim)
    They say that if you play a Windows Install CD backwords, you hear satanic messages. That's nothing; play it forward and it installs Windows.

    the irony is that people that consistently chat on aim never seem to get anything done, hence the reason why I don't use it.

    You could just use Trillian, and then you get AIM, Yahoo, MSN, ICQ, and IRC all in one.

    I forgot to append the qualifier 'often' to my statement. I use AIM about twice a week probably.
    EDIT:
    Oh, and in case you can't read between the lines, eat me
