I'm a high-school student who works at a tech support job. What about you?
Naturally I didn't feel inspired enough to read all the links for you, since I already slaved away for long hours under a blistering sun pressing the search button after typing four whole words! - Quzah

I am a student and will be starting my second year in January. This website is the reason I decided to go to college.

    LOL

It was more like I found a forum where lots of people would come with homework questions. I didn't know anyone at all in college at the time so the whole idea of school was foreign to me, it had never crossed my mind. People would post questions like, "how do I write this program" and expect a full answer. That shows like no effort, so I figured if guys who have zero interest are going to college for progamming I figured what the hell, I might as well get a degree since I'm interested in it. It's better than working a crappy job I guess

If you dance barefoot on the broken glass of undefined behaviour, you've got to expect the occasional cut.
If at first you don't succeed, try writing your phone number on the exam paper.

1000002 votes for a block of cheese!? Are there that many users or has a mod been messing with the results?

Anyway, I'm a secondary (education) student.

This poll is unfair, I am an Executive-level of a multi-national corporation, who is also Bill Gates' goon, an alien, And Linus's friend. Your polls are evil and descriminatory

this one should definately have been multiple choice... and 'full-time programmer' has two meanings in my mind: 1) full-time employee who's job is programming, 2) full-time programmer on my own time

    using definition two, I am:
    Full time Programmer
    McJob*
    Student
    Bill Gates' goon
    Linus Torvalds' friend
    Others

*$7.56/hour + commission selling cameras and photofinishing isn't what I would call a McJob, but it was the closest choice besides other...

    You're not sure?
How about, Bush AND Hussein, the slash could mean this too. I mean, you've never seen them together, have you?
