    Talking just inserted this into my code

    i just inserted the following comment into my Java project due tomorrow:
    Code:
    /*
     * O the learned and the wicked, that are puffed up in the pride of their hearts,
     * and all those who preach Java, and all those who practice the ways of Java,
     * and pervert the right way of the Computer Scientist. Wo, wo, wo be unto them,
     * saith the Lord God Almighty, for they shall be thrust down to hell!
     *
     * But behold, if the inhabitants of the earth shall repent of their wickedness and
     * abominations, and return to the practice of C++, the Celestial Programming Practice (CPP),
     * they shall not be destroyed, saith the Lord of Hosts.
     *
     */

    Fo' real, yo.

    If I were you, I'd be scared. Teachers have a special gift for humiliating students. They are much smarter than you and hold much more power. Be on guard.

    Just like I'm the only person in my state who happens to be a Yankees fan, I now think I am the only person in the world (or these forums at least) who actually LIKES Java .

    That is either going to go one of 2 ways.

    1) Your teacher sees your point clearly and agrees, laughing it off and giving you a nice little smiley face on your code.

    2) Your teacher is a Java zealot, doesn't understand C++, and will dock you 5-10 points minimum for including "unnecessary comments".

    Let's hope it turns toward #1.

    Because we all know comments increase executable size and reduce the speed of a program.

    hahah.

    I'm working on a project in my class - its boring, so I'm commenting every single line (300+ lines) . Everyone things I'm crazy.

    I don't know if that was a shot at me, or at the stupid teachers of the world, but that's not what I meant.
