Tip: If you live with your parents still, you probably don't need a multi-thousand dollar program to model things with. And if you want to play around with it, download it off Kazaa. Or use something free.Originally posted by Liger86

Does it matter what everyone else uses? You're not exactly a professional 3D designer, buddy. It's free, good, and powerful.
Plus, you can import its files into Bryce, etc.
first of all, you ask for something free, then you want that free thing to be a proffesional level modeller, and on top of that you dont want to use kazaa(illegal) or the only other means(again ,illegal) of getting it? Get real. 1) actually get good at it and need something more powerful
2) grow up , quit whining, and pay for it yourself.
Sorry to be harsh, but everyone here has been suggesting alot of different things to use, but you seem to want it all for nothing and think that you can do it legally.
If you want something free and you dont want to be illegal, then get Blender.
