Concurrent version systems, a necessity for modern software development when the team spans more than a few individuals. Alot of companies and orginizations are using different CVS software to manage concurrent development of their products. I guess im just hunting for one to use. Whats the best one you have worked with? Im in search of an easy to manage system that will keep all my code in sync across the 2 workstations i use, and my laptop. One workstation and my laptop are running Winblows 2000, and MS Dev Studio 6.0 with the latest SPs. The other workstation is FreeBSD 4.8, running anjuta and gcc 2.95.4. I re-use alot of my code between personal and professional projects, and I have amassed quite an archive of code over the years. I need a cross platform way to keep track of and manage all that code, as well as keep any changes current from one computer to another. The open source standard, CVS, seems a little overly compilicated for what i want to do. I would really love any suggestions you guys could offer in the matter. Thanks for your time.
