    Deletion of own threads

    Is it possible to delete the threads you've created?

    You can't delete threads (unless someone changed the setting back again). If you need to delete one, use the warn moderators post link, and someone will do it for you. I've just removed your (Dragoon_42) thread from the C board, btw.
    When all else fails, read the instructions.
    If you're posting code, use code tags: [code] /* insert code here */ [/code]

    I believe if you started the thread and you delete your first post the thread is gone.

    That was why we removed the ability. There were several very long threads that a lot of people had contrinuted to that were deleted because the original poster deleted his/her first message.

    Why not just jig the code for deleting threads so that:-
    Code:
    if (nPosts > 1 && bMod == FALSE)
       YousCantDoThatSucka();
    ?

    The initial thread starting post would equal one post. So if one person responded, that would equal two posts.

    Oh, right, sorry - I haven't tried doing that in a while here, so I was going by FD's vB board.

    I have been around code for too long, I though you guys were talking about threads like pthread, and I was thinking, of course you can delete threads .
