That's a problem of the East, not the West.

    ok.....................

Relax man, if you don't know anyone who could have possibly been effected by the hurricane then why did you bother responding? Some people here(I'm assuming) either live in the east coast or know someone know does.

What the hell is wrong with you people? He's asking a simple question, and you keep giving him stuipd responses. He's not talking about Africa; where does that even come from? He's looking to see if anyone was affected on a personal level. Of course he can find out all the millions of people that were affected, but I don't think he's looking for that answer. It seems like he's trying to see how badly each person was affected or if not affected.

Here in Philly we've only gotten some wind a rain. But back where my family and friends live, their power was out and school was cancelled.

Been through a a dozen or so Typhoons during my time in Okinawa. Even with a super typhoon came through the damage was minor. I can never understand why people live in an area that is known for hurricanes and not build their structures to with stand it.

I was right in the path of the storm outside of the DC area. My power flickered off and on a couple of times but other than that I must say I'm dissappointed in all the hype the weather people gave this storm. Just a bit of wind, an occasional strong gust and some rain.. that was all it was to me.

Oh, ok. Thanks for letting us know. What's that got to do with this, again?

It's been raining here all day (MI), but I don't know if that's some effects from the edge of the hurricane, or just normal rain.
