I heard is was hitting NC, not NJ.

Hope all the guys wherever it hits stay safe, though. Sounds pretty dangerous

NJ should see intense surf even if the storm turns completely west.

I doubt NJ will see 120-150 mph winds since the hurricane is only peaking out at 105mph right now on the coast of NC where it's going to hit. We're supposed to get 30 mph winds and I'm about 5 hours inland in NC.

Apparently we are supposed to get the tail end of it up here in Southern Ontario....

Probably just a lot of rain.

Shows how far reaching that is, then. I expect our weather's going to be f'ed up for a few days, too.

I don't see why everyone is getting so worked up in the mainland like Pennsylvania. It's just some rain and wind here, people.

Here in Tennessee we usually just get a little rain and a couple gusts of wind that spur off the hurricane. Some hurricances can produce tornadoes in other places of the region, so watch out. This one will probably be bad, but not as bad as predicted.
