Car MP3

Hi folks, I got me a CD MP3 player for my car.

I understand the 'joilet' or whatever its called bit about burning, but how do I do the 'Trees' and stuff.

With 220 songs on 1 disc I need to be able to slip through albums etc.

Does it mean-Seperate the songs into artists, each with a new folder with that artists name?, then burn under one BIG folder name? Like car1?

At the moment I have like 150 songs, and have to skip through each one!! NOOOO

    This is the one

    Ideas?

    Hi Fountain,

I have a walkman type MP3 CD player and I write the songs in folders, under the album title my player allows me to scroll, folder to folder until I find the one I want.

    Hello Fountain,

What type of tunez have you got on there. I prefer my r&b, hip hop, uk garage and the odd hard house track. You've got to have quality tunes in your car!

I have CD MP3 player for my car, but its a different brand. Like H&R, I just create a normal set of folders called whatever to put the MP3s in. As long as it conforms to the Joilet standard, it should read OK.

If you're in doubt, burn to a CDRW instead of CDR, that way you don't create a coaster if it goes pear shaped.
When all else fails, read the instructions.
If you're posting code, use code tags:
/* insert code here */
I was kind of being a jerk mocking the first two people saying hello, but I'll continue on with this conversation...

Yes, it is for Arizona, and today actually is a nice day. It feels like it's only in the mid 90s, so not too bad considering what it's been like for the past 3-4 months. I'm glad to hear that it didn't rain over there.

Well, congrats on the car mp3 player and have fun with it.

    Good day.

HEHE you are funny Sub (not). How the hell are you-hows the new country-not been arrested yet I hope. Get your self back to UK as if I practice snooker much more, you will have less chance when you get back than you had before.

Hows the local beer? Do they have snooker in Germany? Oh yes, sorry-hope you have designed some superb new systems n stuff. Send me the new email bud, or a PM.

Edit-oh and SUB, the reason I bought this new beat box is that somebody stuffed my window in (after failing to bend the locks) and nicked my last one! From outside work is the shocking bit. I wasnt best pleased!

    Good day.

Hehe I wasnt being moody or anything- I always take an interest in US stuff, like weather, travel etc. One day I''ll be visiting AZ (and the rest of US).

Hook me up a cheap hotel for when I get there.

    Such is life.

Michigan, so don't worry about putting it in a fridge, it'll be plenty cold on its own.

I didn't intend to say that I thought you were. And yeah AZ isn't so bad of a place to live at. A lot of people complain around here, but I still like it for the most part. It's hot as hell all the time, but it's better than it snowing or raining everyday. Grand Canyon is a good place to visit at least once.
