    Psychology...right!

My girlfriend was taking a psychology course last semester at a certain University...she is a psychology major (please do not comment on that..hehe) and this was one of the intermediate course, something like psych290...well anyway to the point.

Their professor was an old stiff. He lectured in a monotone, standing by the podium with his hands clinched to it at the front. She says he looked mighty unhappy. Anyways, at the beginning of the semester the whole class decided to change the professor with positive reinforcement (psychological mombojambo).

So each time the professor moved his heands of the podium for whatever reason the class would perk up and they would get into the discussion by askiing questions and excitement. Throughout the semester their experiment was such a success that they managed to "move" the professor from the podium, to the entrance door!! his hands folded leaning on the side, and a big smile. last week of classes the word got out, and the professor found out what his pupils where doing...He gave C's to the people who deserved A's and so on...

    so what do you think?

I'm sure it would be quite embarassing to succomb to the fiddlings of the students whom you are supose to be teaching. I'd have flunked every one in the class.

Lemme clear that up, not relating to the experiment - I would just flunk every one in the class just to be a bastard teacher.

On the point of ".. who deserved A's". If you have A scores on tests and homework you need to collect and keep your graded work. At the end of the semester if you are given an unwarranted grade you can bring it to the supervisors at the university for review. When they investigate and find out if infact he gave grades that were not up to par with earned score - your grade will be fixed, and the teacher repremanded if not fired.

(it should be realized my posts are all in a light hearted manner. And should not be taken offense to.)

I would have been impressed and happy that the kids had learned something. A's all around.

    Oh well.

I'd think he'd be happy. I mean, clearly they grasped the concepts of human psychology and behavior.
The word rap as it applies to music is the result of a peculiar phonological rule which has stripped the word of its initial voiceless velar stop.

some people are just very bitter...and in the professor's case, bitterness mixed with very low self esteem...
