But then if he can do anything he can greate such a big rock, right?
Confuted's point I believe, and mine until I read his post, is that if God is perfect, he doesn't care. He's got better things to do.

You didn't ask if he wanted to, but if he could.
"When I die I want to pass peacefully in my sleep like my grandfather did, not screaming and yelling like the passengers in his car."
Well, wouldnt that be wrong? If he could create a rock too heavy for him to lift, he couldnt lift it. If he could lift it, then he couldnt create one heavy enough for him to lift!Originally posted by ZakkWylde969
Well based on what I have heard about god, he can do anything. If he can create matter he can certainly move it. If a comet can change the rotation of a planet I would just have to assume that if God existed then he certainly could move anything
Do not make direct eye contact with me.
Well according to believers god can do anything. So he creates a rock that is impossible for him to lift. But then god can do the impossible and then lift it.

how about I punch god in the nose, how would he like that? Eh? Come on god, I'll take you on, get those gloves on, biatch.
If he created a rock too heavy for him to lift and he wanted to lift it, then he would simply use his power to change the rock to something he could lift, then lift it, then change it back to a rock that he could not lift.
"Owners of dogs will have noticed that, if you provide them with food and water and shelter and affection, they will think you are god. Whereas owners of cats are compelled to realize that, if you provide them with food and water and shelter and affection, they draw the conclusion that they are gods."

To be honest I think God (umm if he is there) is way too busy drinking Stella and 'looking after' young virgins to give the rock situation much thought...
Such is life.
oh come on guys? you didn't see dogma did you?
. . . by creating a rock too big for him it would be paradoxial thus WE would cease to exist.
---- sorry just a bit of humor.
if a contradiction was contradicted would that contradition contradict the origional crontradiction?
