But then if he can do anything he can greate such a big rock, right?

Confuted's point I believe, and mine until I read his post, is that if God is perfect, he doesn't care. He's got better things to do.

You didn't ask if he wanted to, but if he could.

Well, wouldnt that be wrong? If he could create a rock too heavy for him to lift, he couldnt lift it. If he could lift it, then he couldnt create one heavy enough for him to lift!

Well according to believers god can do anything. So he creates a rock that is impossible for him to lift. But then god can do the impossible and then lift it.

If he created a rock too heavy for him to lift and he wanted to lift it, then he would simply use his power to change the rock to something he could lift, then lift it, then change it back to a rock that he could not lift.

To be honest I think God (umm if he is there) is way too busy drinking Stella and 'looking after' young virgins to give the rock situation much thought...

    Such is life.

oh come on guys? you didn't see dogma did you?
. . . by creating a rock too big for him it would be paradoxial thus WE would cease to exist.

---- sorry just a bit of humor.
if a contradiction was contradicted would that contradition contradict the origional crontradiction?
