    It's So Sweet

With my new job at MCI they gave me a debit card with a VISA logo on it. Depending on how you do on sales MCI puts money on the card for you. I already have a little bit of money put on it, so I'm able to use it for buying things. So last night I decided to buy a Death Cab For Cutie CD online, since I don't know where else to buy it. It's really nice being able to finally buy stuff online; I'm so happy.

Well, my question to all of you is what sort of items do you purchase online, or do you not buy anything at all?

Anything and everything, from DVDs, to the weekly groceries, to car insurance and more
When all else fails, read the instructions.

If it's ship-able, I like to order it online... because I'm lazy, and it's often times cheaper.

    Car insurance and books/DVD's.

I also got my Sky TV online years ago as its only a Pound installation. Missus buys from catalogues and stuff.
    Such is life.

DVDs, video games, materials for learning various subjects(anything from deadly amounts of ELEC, or nasty flammables etc.), fireworks, lingerie(not for me),computer hardware, and almost any damn thing that's a better deal versus getting it locally. The only things I will buy locally are things I can get a the local, good priced hardware store, or Wal Mart. Those things are usually piddly things I would never buy on-line.
The world is waiting. I must leave you now.

I buy books mostly, sometimes computer odds and sods. Just bought a new NIC for example.

She was so Blonde, she spent 20 minutes looking at the orange juice can because it said "Concentrate."

When in doubt, read the FAQ.
    Then ask a smart question.

Just out of interest (and if you don't mind answering), which part of MCI do you work for? I did some work for them for a while when my dad worked for them (and when they were known as WorldCom).

    Thanks,

I work in the Chandler center in Arizona, and the center is based around doing outbound sales (aka telemarketing). I'm in Local Prospect English Internation sales, which means I try to sell our local plans to future prospects to people all around the nation, who in far too many cases can barely speak English. To be blunt about it, I'm in the worst subdivision there. The three plans I try to sell are Neighborhood Complete/Complete CA, Neighborhood Advantage 200, and Neighborhood Standard. The work isn't so bad most of the time, but yesterday it was completely miserable for me.

MCI has completely disassociated itself with Worldcom due to the scandals by high ranked Worldcom employees. MCI had to file for bankruptcy almost a year ago, but we're on track to become the first fortune 500 company to get out of bankruptcy within a year. In fact, we're supposed to be getting out of bankruptcy by next month. A lot of changes have been made to MCI over the past year, especially in quality.

    That answered your question, right?
