Well, there are a few things wrong with your code:
1) It does not work.
2) It does not work.
3) It does not work.
Hope this helps.
Nope, because I don't use IE. I use Opera.
Naturally I didn't feel inspired enough to read all the links for you, since I already slaved away for long hours under a blistering sun pressing the search button after typing four whole words! - Quzah

no, I haven't really seen that happen. It could be your mouse driver.
ps: Have you ever noticed how proud some people are when they use something other than microsoft? You would think they invented the thing, or that use of linux/opera/star office somehow makes them a quality individual.

I 'm just stating that that bug isn't implemented in Opera.

it most certainly would be if it is a mouse driver problem. It would show up in all mousewheel sensitive apps.
Anyhow, it was just an observation. Not a criticism

Every once in a while yes.
Mostly when im doing a lot of quick multitasking for awhile.
No but apparently one of my keyboard buttons stick (I think its ctrl) so that occasionally I will scroll and actually change the text size

Thank you FillYourBrain, at least some people don't hate IE.
Why is it that everytime I talk about a problem an agrue always comes up about IE vs X browser. I think it's a curse.
BTW, where would I get new mouse drivers?

Well I use IE and a MS wireless optical mouse blue.
I had noticed it slightly moved the opp way, but I realised it is the way you reach for the button. Kinda like the way you apply the pressure to the wheel. Very very sensitive this little bugger.
Could be that, especially if you have it set to scroll 3 lines at once.
Edit, Oh and it happens in all software not just IE-so dont blame that.
Such is life.

I've never had thatproblem, but quite often my mouse cursor will slide sideways for no reason.
Can't say I've noticed that one.Originally posted by funkydude9

I get that on my work PC occasionally.but quite often my mouse cursor will slide sideways for no reason.
Yeah, it's like someone complains about a minor problem, and their only solution is to change to another product I'm not getting at you XSquared, it's just a general comment of how IE problem related threads go on these forums.always comes up about IE vs X browser. I think it's a curse.
When all else fails, read the instructions.
If you're posting code, use code tags: [code] /* insert code here */ [/code]
That happens with me when I lag. Lagging just MIGHT be the problem with mine thouhg

sometimes when im not touching the mouse the cursor will start to vibrate. scrolling is ok though.

Any system that is popular will attract more attention because virus writers have a greater chance of spreading their filth. What's the point of writing a worm that attacks only "sdhfg" mail software running on "sgdasfd" when only "2356" in the world use it?
And, no, I've never noticed my mouse wheel behave in that way.
>>> sometimes when im not touching the mouse the cursor will start to vibrate
Now, that, I have seen. It actually started doing that about 4 weeks ago. Sometimes it actually moves, (mostly horizontally), quite suddenly, about 10% across the screen then "vibrates".
