Oh yeah, forgot about the map thing.
Screw you, Clyde - I liked it anyways

I loved the blair witch project and event horizon. I downloaded 28 days later and watched parts of that and liked the parts I saw (I saw an hour's worth).
Rosemary's baby was freaky, so was Storm of the Century. The author of the book that Storm of the Century is based on lives about 40 mins away from me (Stephen King, he lives in Bangor Maine, I live in Skowhegan Maine), the storyline of Storm of the Century took place off of the coast of my state. ooOooOoOo!
EDIT:
I thought they explicitely say in the movie they went into hell, not just a dimension representing itmy impression was that the ship had gone to another dimension (possibly representing hell) and that they were all actually living in a piece of hell for the time they were there.

Very possibly, I don't remember. I've tried to forget. It's already established that I'm a big chicken.Originally posted by Silvercord

if you want a good movie you can alwyas watch "The Shining"- by Kubrick
They say that if you play a Windows Install CD backwords, you hear satanic messages. That's nothing; play it forward and it installs Windows.
I didn't like the shining because it made no sense to me.
I love the exorcist, but only because my sister is scared to death of it and the only way I can get her to shut her 13 year old mouth is to pretend I'm possessed by the devil.
lmfao... what about halloween? that's terrofying
Fire in the Sky is creepy as hell! It's based off a true story, at least proclaimed as true, of a few people who were obducted by aliens in Flagstaff, AZ. I don't remember the much, because I haven't watched it since I was like 8. As far as I can remember I think that's the scariest movie ever that I've seen.
---I used to get scared very easily with movies, but now I don't find hardly any movies scary at all. 28 Days Later was in no way scary to me, nor was Freddy vs Jason---
I thought Blair Witch Project was pretty creepy the first time I watched it. The following times was sort of boring and stupid.
A movie I watched recently, called Thirteen Ghosts, was okay; it was a pretty good movie and a okay horror flick.
>Fire in the Sky is creepy as hell!<
Yeah it was pretty scary the first time I watched it when I was 8 or 9. The scenes of the alien abduction was what got me.
Movies only scared me when I was younger, but not anymore.Originally posted by drdroid
What's the most horrifying movie? (For thoughs second graders out there, why?)
Edit: I'd say Halloween. I had a scarring childhood(er... well, an even more childer-hood than I am now) situation where I was seven... saw Halloween in the dark... sleeping over a friends house... that night I looked out the window and saw someone with the same mask looking up at me with a knife just like that. AND FOR YOUR INFORMATION I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW WHAT A DOOBY WAS AT THE TIME!!!
Edit: perfect situation for very degrading joke in 3.. 2.. 1 aaaand Now.
I'm bored and need some movies to watch...
If you really want to know what fear feels like, run around a cemetary at 3 in the mourning, or go to the mall and attempt to ask every girl for their phone number. That's scary!
I had to watch that in 8th grade. It sucked, really hard.Originally posted by TechWins

if you want a creepy movie check out "Houes Of a Thousand Corpses" -its the movie Rob Zombie wrote/directed. It was done 5 yrs ago or something but never got released because it was rated X for violence. Its out now with an R rating.
Hate to break it to you but that's not why they give x ratings... violence isn't the answer
edit: YAH!! Finally geting to see 28 days later... i think this is it's last day in theatres here... zya.
That's not scary? I have picnics in the cemetary(during the daytime), and drive through there, whenever I happen to be passing by(night time usually)...even did it in the cemetary after midnight(on the ground, like a couple of feet from a headstone). Cemetary is nothing.Originally posted by Terrance

Event Horizon was a good movie. Not scary, somewhat freaky, but not scary. That video footage of the old ship is pretty nuts. Any time you see those QUICK images of mutilation and stuff fly by the screen, be it, the images that Dr. Weir is planting into the guy's head, or the footage of the old ship, watch it in slow motion. Some of the images are crazy!
Fire in the sky freaked me out as a kid...and so did Aliens(the actual 2nd one, the best one IMO...longest, definitely).
Return of the living dead 3 wasn't scary, but it's got more gore in it than an autopsy room(probably beats event horizon, even though it's close).
Popcorn...that freaked me out as a kid!
I've seen a billion and one horror movies, and I use to start renting B grade horror movies almost once a week/every two weeks because I was running out of ideas/big name things to rent. I would have to say my most favorite horror movies are Aliens, and Hellrasier Inferno.
The world is waiting. I must leave you now.
