    Debugger

    Does any one know a good debugger which can open up exe's... or services runnin on the comp..

    softice is great, it can do just about anything.

    can't copy and paste with the interface it uses, though.

    It's proprietry, It used to be made by NuMega now it's made by someone else. There are two versions, one for the Win9x/ME line of products and one for NT,2k,XP.

    Using Softice for user mode apps is overkill IMO......

    There are loads of user mode disassemblers and debuggers for free on the web...try a search

    Also, see what tools your compiler comes with
