Most Horrifying Movie(Dedicated to Govtcheez) :P

What's the most horrifying movie? (For thoughs second graders out there, why?)

Edit: I'd say Halloween. I had a scarring childhood(er... well, an even more childer-hood than I am now) situation where I was seven... saw Halloween in the dark... sleeping over a friends house... that night I looked out the window and saw someone with the same mask looking up at me with a knife just like that. AND FOR YOUR INFORMATION I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW WHAT A DOOBY WAS AT THE TIME!!!

Edit: perfect situation for very degrading joke in 3.. 2.. 1 aaaand Now.

I'm bored and need some movies to watch...

Scariest thing i've seen was a play called "The woman in black"

For films... i dunno i thought Ringu (orginal Japanese version of "The Ring") was reasonably chilling, and i thought blair witch was fairly scary though as with almost all scare flicks the "scaryness" is somewhat diminished by the characters IMMENSE stupidity.

I haven't watched it in awhile, but I didn't think the people in BWP did anything profoundly stupid, until the end.

Event Horizon wasn't so much scary as it was evil. It left me with some pretty weird feelings. I didn't like it at all.

I dunno - I had never been scared that much by a movie before. I really like it.

my impression was that the ship had gone to another dimension (possibly representing hell) and that they were all actually living in a piece of hell for the time they were there. It was scary, I shouldn't say it wasn't. It was just one of those movies that did so by bieng so unbelievably evil that you feel crappy after having watched it.

blair witch on the other hand, had issues. The only thing that made it remotely scary was that they made the movie as if it was the actual event caught on film. Clever considering it covered up some of the low budget flaws. I really feel like I should have seen the ending coming a mile away but it did surprise me for some reason.

Like I said, you either loved it or you ahted it. I really liked that they made it so suspenseful and scary without ever showing big rubber monsters or blood splatters or anything.

Heh you mean aside from throw the map away then wander aimlessly around going "the compass is screwed what should we, we're lost!!"

    *Clyde whispers: follow the river*

"damnit we're still lost lets just head that way",

    *Clyde says: follow the river!*

"OMG dude we're back where we started, omg we're gonna die lets just head in this random direction.

*Clyde yells: FOLLOW THE FREAKING RIVER*.
