    start mixing in steel balls and your being retarded.
    I get the point, but its not as dangerous as you think it will be. You can do the math, its just tricky for paintballs(airsoft pellets are more consistant).

    They just sting alot more. it good if you have a large area to play in. A official place would probally kick you out.

    Just out of curiosity, how do you guys play(im mean every one reading this thread? Free for all? Team style? Scenarios? How do you play(im mean which style, Duke Nukem, Sniper...)?

    Heck with the lan party for cprog get a paintball match going.

    They'd kick you out cuz its a bad idea.

    Whatever we are in the mood for. Sometimes FFA, CTF, TP, etc.

    We decided that was too large scale to be pulled off so it has been placed on the back burner for a while.

    Nice math. The force will decrease with distance and i already said you have to have space. You cant be playing with idiots.

    You mean the lan party right?

    A paintball match would be harder, but it would be alot of fun. It seems that us US guys are spaced to much. I doubt people are willing to go to far.

    I remember hearng something about a cprog irc room, why not just make a couple game rooms like that? Most people wont show up any way, bandwidth will come later. The real question is what game. Some games just scale better.

    Delta Force? Rainbox six? What do you guys play?

    Maybe ill dig up a old thread and post it.

    That would be why we canceled it. The lan party that is.

    Back on topic: Is that good deal with everything im getting? Its a rlly good gun for the price imo...

    Good price for the gun, yeah.

    The gun you were talking about earlier that fires as fast as you pull the trigger is the Tippmann A-5. The excess gas from firing recocks the gun and brings the next ball in. Combined with an RT, I read a magazine was getting 17-19 BPS with it, and with no electronics at all. Pretty sweet.

    Ok so i got the stuff yesterday, my dad wasnt big on it but he gave me the cash. I got a Tippman 98 Custom gun Kit. The kit included a 200 hopper, 9oz tank (gonna get a bigger one soon), all needed cleaning tools, replacement o rings, 2 year warrenty, but plate for the tank, and Scott goggles. I talked to store into taking out the crappy always-fog scott goggles and sticking a VFORCE thermal helmet with visor and throat protection and call it part of the kit, so they werent extra. Then i bought a thousand PB's.

    All in all i spent roughly 200.00. I could have saved money buying the other stuff but the Tippman kit was 179.99 and Tippman's are bad ass. The PB's only ran me 20.

    I hit my buddy from about sixty feet away in the shoulder and he has a huge welt, and he was wearing a jacket : )

    I played for the first time two sundays ago. The first game, the whistle blew and I charged ahead of my team, heading straight for the enemy's base camp. I was so hyped that I didn't even notice I had past it, and made it to the 'yellow rope' (ie: the end of the field) rather quickly. So I spun around and headed back just as fast, nailing several players as I retreated...all of them on my team. :O The team leader was wise enough to take me out before I wasted anyone else.

    I really enjoyed it though, but it set me back $150 (for me and my brother) since I didn't have the equipment or paintballs.

    My only complaint is that the masks hinder the breath too much, and I was willing to risk losing an eye just to shed the damn thing! As for my protective clothing, I got rid of it after the first game it was so hot...and it was worth every quarter-sized bruise, too.
    Code:
    #include <cmath>
    #include <complex>
    bool euler_flip(bool value)
    {
        return std::pow
        (
            std::complex<float>(std::exp(1.0)),
            std::complex<float>(0, 1)
            * std::complex<float>(std::atan(1.0)
            *(1 << (value + 2)))
        ).real() < 0;
    }
