just a quickie cuz i dont wanna look it up. if it doesn't come with windows, should i still distribute my games as .rar's? my games like 20 megs but gets sqweezed down to 4. it's amazing technology. .zip may be more common but it only cuts the size half. whats everyones opinion?

edit-to answer your question, I believe that .rar files are self-extracting(you don't need winrar to open them) so yes, you may as well.

rars extract themselves, so you don't need another program to do it.
winrar can handle even zip, cab and other types of acrhives... Winrar can be done without have self extracting option same as winzip and can save space.. But if the host PC does not have winrar it is better to buoild self extracting rar files.. and yea rar has greater compression ration than zip.. and i use it always...
