    A Proposal

Friends, Romans, CBoardians, lend me your ears, for I come not to start a rant, but with a proposal.

    (Nice first line, huh? )

Have any of you ever played Liero? Liero is an AWESOME game. It is the funnest game you will ever play in your entire life. You can download it at:

    www.dosgames.com

There are also rumors about a Liero 2 coming out, but those have been going around for years, and no apparent progress is being made. I think it would be cool if we could mod Liero and make it a multiplayer game. Go and look at it. Play it. It is awesome.

We should make dopewars multiplayer. You know where we can team up and sell the shiznit and have gang wars and stuff. That would be hilarious.

Why don't we all program a game...together? Sounds fun, right? Just a simple (or complex) DOS game. Let's compiler ideas.

We'll all be into it for about a day or two then we'll lose interest and forget about it. Unless we all take specific peices of the program and write them up and give them to the team lead to compile and check over syntax and all that jazz, then we can post it on download.com and become a huge game programming company. Ill help out with whatever we are going to make. If we are going to make something. But unless everyone does their piece and someone organizes it all, it's not going to work out.

That's the idea. I nominate Generator to be the team leader. Sounds good. We have to have an idea. Do you want to set up a new thread to discuss our ideas and then get people to join? you can start it if you want.

Really, lets give it a try.

    --Garfield

If you get to starting the thread before me, then title it something like "cprogramming board game...come join". And then, of course, we'll have a limited amount of workers.

does anyone know how to dig... I figured out that the jump/change combo does the grappling hook. But in order to dig, I shoot the walls. I see the computer player digging tho...

    to dig:

press that arrow of the way you want to go, and AFTER you have done that, tap or press the arrow OPPOSITE of the way you want to go.

Hey, the game thing sounds like a great idea! can I help too? But, uh, I don't know much about programming yet...I mean, I do know the very basics but that's it... I am learning tho, in school...
Oh one other thing, I don't play games much...haha, I'm not exactly the best helper am I? Oh well, if you have any little things to take care of, I'll be glad to help!

...Yeah,I'd love to help too, but as of right now the best I could do is probably play the old game and check out the things that need to be improved... how about that

... all cause of the last of programming skill, but slooooowely I'll get there (some day...)
