The one major problem I have with most religions, and most religious people for that matter, is this belief that there is some sort of universal morailty, there isn't.
Several others have made similar comments, so I just wanted to insert my two cents... if you believe in a perfect, unchanging God who created the universe and laid down these moral standards, then of course there is an absolute, universal morality. But if you don't believe in such a God then it would be hard to justify absolute morals...

And to answer the original question of the thread... I personally want to remain a virgin until marriage, and would of course want my spouse to share my beliefs and also be a virgin. (And besides my religious beliefs, I think it would be wonderful to tell my husband on our wedding night that I waited my entire life and saved myself for him!) But of course we all make mistakes and do things we regret later... Anyway, elchulo, there's nothing wrong with you being concerned that your girlfriend is not a virgin. I would encourage you to get to know her a little better and find out why she slept with those guys, whether she regrets it, etc... if you both have similar opinions about sex, then that's a good sign that you will be able to work this out.
My programs don't have bugs, they just develop random features.

Awww, that's sweet. Say that after your first sexual experience on your wedding night's a complete disaster. I'm with HybridM. I probably wouldn't marry a virgin.

PROTIP: Your "first time" may seem special before you get there, but it's usually not and it's usually not very good. It's just the way it is.

edit: Yeah, it could go to plan, but chances are that the girl's going to be in pain for at least the first few times, and like you said, the guy'll last no time at all. My first sexual experience was crap - I'm glad I didn't wait until marriage; made pleasing my current gf a lot easier.

I was going to say the same thing, the guy will last like all of 10 seconds, and for the girl it will quite possibly be 10 seconds of agony.

It can go to plan i guess but like Govt says chances are it wont be fantastic.

    Dear Penthouse...

Seriously, it was really quick, she really hurt, and... yeah, that was about it. The only cool thing about it was that it was a couple hours after we had gotten home from a church camp; that was kinda funny.

It wasn't a disaster, didnt last very long, but my partner wasn't a virgin so she didn't get hurt.

It wasn't really a disaster, that's true, but it wasn't very good. I meant that she seems to think her first time on her wedding night's going to be some magical thing where angels fly and harps play instead of some awkward grimacing and wincing affair lasting less than a minute. Getting your hopes up for your first time being anything more than a gateway to when it starts to be good is asking for it.

LMAO! You maybe right. I'll just say its the honeymoon phase of marriage but don't think that after a while routine sets in. But I think thats great you'll wait for your husband but don't be shocked when you fall for someone who isn't. That doesn't mean he doesn't love you or your not soul mates. My definition of a soul mate is your very best friend, who you want to grow old with, have children, grandkids, someone you can do everything with.

Listen grow up and if you love her with all your heart then go for it. We sometimes don't get a second chance, ok. Or kick her to the curb and good luck finding someone that can make you feel the way she can dude. I believe each person we encounter brings us closer to our soulmate.

    Good Luck!

Strawberries ARE gross. A few years ago, a bunch of strawberries from Mexico came into Michigan and were fed to kids in school hot lunches and were available to buy at the store. Turns out, they were fertilized with human feces. A bunch of people got Hepatitis.

Handshakes are gross too. Just think what people do with their hands! Ewww!

    On this gross thing,

Sure, from an objective standpoint, sex is pretty gross, but I'm not objective.
I'm a human and I have a gender, and I quite like the whole human sex thing.
Considering how large industries such as pornography are, I don't think I'm alone.

Surgery is pretty gross too but I don't think we should stop doing that, because again, I'm not an objective observer, and I see the act of surgery as the life saver it is.

    Ethic your argument is flawed.

They aren't always labeled. At least, there isn't a big sign in the store that says "THESE STRAWBERRIES ARE FROM MEXICO AND LITTLE MEXICAN CHILDREN CRAPPED ON THEM DAILY" Oh well, they got taken off the shelves quickly and there were warnings all over the news.
    Away.
