Truer words have never been spoken. Well.... in this thread at least. You dont want it. Be happy for the short time that you dont have to worry about it. And don't be one of those idiots that tries to grow one before they can and just sprout all this whispy nest. It looks like you have leprosy and are going through kemo or something. Patchy beards dont make you look older. They just make you look like a kid trying to look older.

I shave every damn day (at least, the ones i get up in time... so rarely) and I'm all scratchy again by the end of work. On the up side, I'm one of those lucky individuals who has no chest or back hair. I couldnt be happier about that. I get hot enough in the summer as it is without having to wear a permanent rug. My beard grows in a perfect goatee if I let it too. Guess I'm pretty happy with my hair situation.

I know. Its still true. I'd rather not have a single hair on my body except my head... oh, and eyebrows. And I guess ears and nose, cuz I like hearing and not breathing chunks of the earth. I think theres miniscule hairs in your mouth somewhere for something too, but I dont remember what for... Anyhow; the point was, hair is for chimps, cats, and the fat lady down the street (cuz thats just funny).

    *begins laughing uncontrollably too*

*stops suddenly* *stares at KEN menacingly* You want a piece of me? Huh? Lets take it outside.

... Okay, so I've been up since 5 am on my only day off (dont ask). I'm feeling a little odd (hence my sudden flood of the GD with responses to whimsical posts like this one). And my girlfriends at work so I'm all lonely. Will you be my friend?

    Am I scaring you yet?

You shave them all off? Regularly?

Novelty works only once or twice when you get older-women soon wish you had it back! And nothing itches more.

Ya reguarly. My g/f (as well as a few other girls we hang out with and talk to) like it much better. I think its more comfortable, the first time it itches but after that its much better. Just dont shave then stop then shave then stop stuff gets thick.

Shaving is a myth. It doesn't make hair grow faster.
    Also quoted for truth.

You can't encourage hair growth of any kind (except with rogaine or other hair growth medicines, which I know nothing about how effective they are.) Don't try to encourage it, either. You'll just end up looking stupid. If you want to shave, shave. If you want to grow out your hair, let it grow out. Dye it blond. Or whatever. But if your hair isn't naturally growing, it probably won't start doing so until your body's ready.

Eh, it was more in reference to any unneccessary hair like pubic hair, facial hair, chest hair, stomach hair, etc... I'm actually lucky when it comes to facial hair, b/c I still have my smooth face for the most part. Yay for me. My legs are way too hairy, but there's no way I'm going to shave them. Although, I do trim (not shave) my pubic hair, stomach hair, chest hair, and arm pit hair every couple of weeks. It feels so much better having less hair, and I think it looks better too.

RoD, as tempting as that offer is I'm sorry to say I'm going to have decline it. Maybe another time...like during the winter.

Oh, yes, I'm glad I dont have any back hair either. Yay for me again!

Another LAME thread. I think this domain has got to the point where a board called "Stupid $$$$ that nobody should read" might actually be appropriate. This General Discussions board has turned into such a piece of ...........
