    Terminator 3..nope

Ugh..T3 is so bad. I realli hate this kinda movies which doens't tell you any decent stories. It starts off nowhere and ends no where, preparing for you for the upcoming 10 follow-up episodes or something. Beside a few o.k. jokes, it's just another movie with a lot of explosions.

You don't learn anything after watching it, which is not-good.

Movies aren't supposed to teach you. They're supposed to be entertaining.

Have you seen the other 2 movies?

Like what? I need examples, here.

    o i c.

You saw the previous 2, so I assume that you liked them enough to see the third. Being that they're scifi action shootemups, what'd you learn? Not to create a sentient AI?

Did i say i think the first 2 were good?

One movie i recently saw (which is good) is "Waking Life", full of philosophical insights. Yes.

What would happen if a terminator ran under Windows and crashed?? One good reason not to create sentient AI.

We can't even figure out how to make your squaddies in games do intelligent things - like aim and shoot and actually help you out. Instead they normally kill you by shooting you in the back, or they fall off of a cliff, or they chuck a grenade into a room while you are standing in it. Morons with weapons. They are more dangerous to you than the actual bad guys in the game!!

Until our AI programming gets better, I'll stick with stupid computers.

No kidding. I killed two members in my party in Morrowind last night because they walked right in front of me as I swung my sword. They didn't have weapons out - they were going to try and beat the monster to death barehanded.

They were gonna save the world with their bare hands and you killed 'em. LOL.

Hey, if you get in my way, I can't be held responsible. I've also shot people I was trying to escort when they wouldn't get out of the way. I get frustrated with it pretty easily - maybe that's why I haven't beaten it yet.

(for the record, my hand-to-hand skill is like 95 in that game - I probably could have beaten the thing to death easily)

I once had this game where this loud mouthed jerk was shouting orders at you through the whole thing. Fortunately he could be shot too thereby silencing him for the duration of the game.

If your friends get in your way or are more of a threat or nuissance than the bad guys - kill em and you will probably solve the game quicker.

Even on the new Rainbow Six games your moron squaddies continually run in front of you as you are shooting terrorists. I can't figure out whose more of a terrorist - my platoon, the hostages, or the terrorists.

And what is it with ladders in games? Absolutely no one has come up with a game that can climb ladders correctly consistently. Normally the AI falls apart with everyone standing at the bottom with their thumb up you know where. Meanwhile at the top of the ladder you are getting blasted into next week.
Stairways seem to offer the same challenge for AI.

To get back on track, I haven't seen T3 yet but I want to. Normally I don't go see any Terminator movies with the idea of actually learning something. I just want to see the cool special effects - who cares about the rest.

T3 was a fun movie. Nothing more. I get a kick out of people who try to read too deeply into movies like the matrix. Most movies are peppered with shallow phylosophy to show off how enlightened the screenwriters are. I prefer film makers who are more honest about what it is that they are doing. They're entertainers, clowns, and jesters. Nothing more. If you try to be too serious about your movies I question your maturity.

Um... yeah. That's what bows do. What do you want me to call it? Bowing them? Arrowing them?
