    Edimime.

Here are 3 screenshots from my game. I'm almost done with it.
Probably be finished by the end of the month, maybe. I don't
know if I'll ever be able to release it, though. I'm using the
introductory edition of MVC++ 6 that has a stupid "Do not
Distrubute your programs" messagebox everytime you start it.
If I am able to release it, I'll put it on the Game Programming
    sticky.

The framerate is low. (as you can see, it's only 212). I'm not using
any Hardware Acceleration (no Blt), and I draw the entire background
each cycle, so I don't have to erase anything, or think. I'm only
using DirectDraw to get the video pointer thingy (and to set the
    screen mode, etc).

There are about a billion things I could do to make it go faster,
but 212 is fast enough for me. If it was below 100, then I'd
probably do those things. But it isn't, so I don't care. Keep in
mind, you're not going to hurt my feeling by making fun of my
    inefficient programming skills.

This game is called Edimime, which really doesn't mean anything.
But, an Edimime is that little headless creature that you have to
protect from getting hooked and taken by the eye. The only
reason why it doesn't have a head is because I couldn't draw it. I
don't care, I like the head-wang idea better. It wiggles... The name
of the planet is also "Edimime." Just wait, one day "Edimime" will
be a word as recognizable as "Tetris."

You kill those eye-thingies with a remote-controlled marble that
flies through the air. A remote controlled marble is easier to draw
than a real weapon. Oh, and if anybody gets their eye poked
(poken?) out by a marble, I won't be held responsible! Don't sue
    me.

After I get a graphics program other than MsPaint (I'm hoping to
get Painter and a Pen Tablet), I'm going to start Edimime 2: Ethic
Saves The Universe (by the way, I'm the Hero!). It's going to be a
sidescroller, in a high-bit color mode (I'm using 8-bit graphics now.
Boo!), at a higher resolution, and the best game ever made. Ethic
will have a cape. Maybe he'll even fly... One thing's for sure, he'll
never wear shoes -- only socks.

Id Software, Blizzard, Epic, Square Enix; none of them can compete
    with ethic.

    heh, nice game....

I like old games (especially 8 bit graphics..... they're funny)....

I won't say, that your game is an old game, but the graphics (8-bit looks very old) are very cool, I like them......

Hey, looks excellent. If you really did those graphics in paint, you have some "mad 1337 skillz"
    Away.
