    New Policy

Alright, in the past few days, we've had a couple people reposting threads that were closed or opening new threads to complain about the fact that their threads were closed. This stops now. This clutters up the boards with needless garbage and is against the rules. The webmaster put us here to keep the boards nice and tidy, and we're going to do that.

We'll deal with the problems as they arise, but the very least that will happen is the thread will be closed. Further reposts will likely result in a ban, as we really, really don't like seeing carbon copies of a thread.

If your thread was closed and you don't like it, PM a mod or the webmaster, and they'll deal with it. DON'T post a thread whining about it.

That's it from me - if you guys have any questions, post them here or PM me.

And any OT posts will be pruned out of here. I'm leaving this open for a reason, guys.

It's about time someone took care of this. These posts here lately have been getting out of hand. I've seen like 2 or 3 threads get closed within the past 2 or 3 days.

I have had a couple edited by moderator posts out there that say some rude things. Then you go and close it but let everyone see. It's immature (hmm since I'm still thinking about the whole age thing...) It's odd that a 14 year old can sometimes be more mature than you older more educated people. We all know I'm just spoon fed from my parents though so don't listen to me...

If we just delete a topic, a couple of new ones will pop up asking for the original thread. So we close it, and edit out offensive or harmful elements, so anyone can see why it was closed.

It's summer time, and as every year, a lot of people, mostly pupils and students find their way to the board in their free time. Those people don't know the rules yet. Some don't want to learn. As we see those types every summer, and see them vanish later without having been any help for this board, I don't mind a harsh policy.

I found confusing the policy of naming a thread "Flaming Thread". I read the policy several times, at least when someone close a thread of mine.

Anyway, I agree with frenchfry164 as nvoigt said, "If we just delete a topic, a couple of new ones will pop up asking for the original thread. So we close it, and edit out offensive or harmful elements, so anyone can see why it was closed."

I'm pretty sure OSR's not banned anymore. I banned him the first time, but that was overturned by kermi. He hasn't posted in awhile, but I'm pretty sure he's not banned.

Other banned people are a couple of the 3-4 kids that thought it'd be hilarious to spam the forums from their school. I think I banned 2 or 3 accounts from that. There have also been some other bannings, but most of them were inconsequential.

I think SeriesX4 1.0 may have been banned at one point, too.
